The preview clip had me very nervous.  As did the bit with Tony on the boat.  And then...

Not a whole lot to say about last night's episode, except that it was old-school, awesome NCIS.  :-)  
 ( Here there be spoilers. Kinda. )

And they're definitely the show we all know and love!  The episode wasn't one that I'll go back and watch over and over, but it didn't need to be - it was a great conclusion to the storyline they set up last season, and a great teaser for what's to come.

I've only seen it once, so I'm sure I'll miss a few things, but these were my favorite bits:

Yep, this one was definitely helped by a second watch.  I can safely say I loved it now.

I think it helped a lot that I didn't take much of what SB said seriously.  I was really excited for the episode, but I know the man is full of shit when it comes to promoting his shows.  He's proven that on many occasions.

I really need to watch this episode again before I can give any kind of coherent opinion, because I think I missed about half of what happened.  I thought it was really good, overall, just a bit confusing - it will probably make more sense the second time through.  The fact that we didn't even start watching it till almost 11 probably didn't help.

Great start to the season finale!  Still processing, but a few things come to mind...

I was nervous about this one going in, and unfortunately it lived up to my expectations.

Good things first - Palmer was adorable, Abby/Tony/Palmer scene was "awwww!", and Tony realizing what he'd done at the end was at least minorly redeeming.   And there were more good moments...actually, just about anything that didn't involve Tony obsessing over ( Read more... )
